since my involvement with the Jazz Amnesty Sound System we have always presented jazz in a way that respected and reveled in the glories of the past, but we also kept an ear to the ground for new and innovative jazz creations. it is with this yearning for contemporary sounds that i present to you a mix of jazz releases from this decade.
