Drop Acid Not Bombs
in 1982 a simple bass synthesizer with built-in sequencer called the Roland TB-303 Bass Line was released to the public. initially marketed to guitarists as bass line accompaniment for solo practice. only 10,000 units were manufactured. in the mid to late 80s a new wave of pioneering dance music producers discovered that by stressing and finessing the 303 a new world of groovy sound was opened up to them; resulting in the creation of acid house and the future of dance music. this is acid.
